Fall & Spring Program

3 years to 5 years

Parents and children learning together. 

Parents learn about child growth and development while providing a nusery school learning experience for their children by participating in the morning program on a rotating basis and attending an evening class one Tuesday of every month.  The classes are small and have a 5-to-1 ratio of children to adults is maintained throughout the year.

Through these building blocks children are introduced to colors, shapes, letters, sounds, measuring, counting, patterns and rhythm.  All preparation for Kindergarten.

Parents and Tots

18 Months to 36 Months

Children and their parents learning, exploring and playing together.

Parents and children attend these weekly classes where messy art, music, songs and fingerplay reign supreme.  Roll up your sleeves and throw yourself into the fun.  Form life long friendships and help give your child the building blocks for preschool.

Emphasis on parent education:

Learning to play with your child

Facilitating communication between parent and child

The art of redirection

Promotion of:

An environment that encourages

exploration and self discovery which fuels cognitive growth.

Appropriate communication between peers.

Participation includes:

Helping with snacks

Preparing art projects

Cleanup

*You will also be required to attend one

Tuesday night meeting. (not required for the summer)

This class meets once a week for 1 1/2 hours at

Woodland Parent Nursery School and

is limited to 15 families.

Includes snack, story and circle time.

Fall, Winter, and Spring Semesters

This program runs  Wednesday and Thursdays

Hours: 1:00-2:30

           Fall 2009 begins September 9/10 and runs for 10 weeks

           Winter 2010 begins January 13/14 and runs for 10 weeks

            Spring 2010 begins March 24/25 and runs for 10 weeks

Tuition for Parents and Tots:

Tuition is $55

(per 10 wk session - includes registration fee)
