An exciting five weeks of preschool! 

A relaxed atmosphere, filled with fun, sun, art, science and on occasion water!  Special, for the Summer session, Teacher Debbie plans all activities for the full five weeks of class. 

Children participate in structured play that emphasizes the learning of social skills - cooperation, sharing, taking turns and problem solving.  Our environment promotes self-confidence, awareness of others and the positive expression of emotions and needs.  Through this wonderfully supportive situation, children are introduced to colors, shapes, letters, sounds, measuring ,counting, patterns and rhythm.

It is also an excellent introduction to the parent co-op nursery school experience.

Ages: 3 years through Kindergarten

July 1 through August 1

Tuition for Summer School

2 days a week    $110

3 days a week    $165

4 days a week    $220

To enroll, submit an application form and a $25 deposit.  Remaining tuition due by

the first day of class.  The deposit is nonrefundable.

Parents and children learning together. 

Parents learn about child growth and development while providing a nusery school learning experience for their children by participating in the morning program on a rotating basis and attending an evening class one Tuesday of every month.  The classes are small and a 5-to-1 ratio of children to adults is maintained throughout the year.

As part of your participation in the Parents & Tots class, you will be helping with snacks, clean up and preparing some of hte art projects.  You will also be required to attend a short orientation and one Tuesday night meeting. (not required for the summer)

This class meets once a week for 1  1/2 hours at Woodland Parent Nursery School and is limited to 10 families.  Kim Hammons and A'lyce Balmain direct the Parents & Tots program.

Ages: 18 months to 36 months
